SSP Ops visits Faizabad checkpost, reviews security measures

ISLAMABAD: Following the special instructions of IGP Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, the Islamabad Police has taken effective measures to ensure foolproof security in the federal capital.
In this regard, SSP Operations Qazi Ali Raza visited the Faizabad checkpost, where he met with the police officers and personnel deployed. He reviewed the checking process and directed the relevant officers to make the checkposts more effective and purposeful to ensure the protection of citizens’ lives and property.
On this occasion, SSP Operations also instructed officers to remain alert at all times, ensure effective checking of suspicious individuals and vehicles, and immediately report any suspicious activities to the senior officials.
He further emphasized that police officers should interact with citizens in a polite and respectful manner to strengthen the trust between the police and the public.
The protection of citizens’ lives and property is the top priority of Islamabad Police, and all security measures are being implemented with this objective in mind.
Citizens are urged to fully cooperate with the police and report any suspicious persons or activities immediately to the relevant police station or via the police helpline Pucar-15.
