Two booked, arms’ cache recovered

ISLAMABAD: Following the directives of IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, the Islamabad Police’s weapon-free city campaign is progressing swiftly.
As part of this effort, the Tarnol police team arrested two accused and recovered a significant cache of weapons along with ammunition from their possession. Cases have been registered against the arrested individuals, and further investigation has begun.
SSP Operations Qazi Ali Raza stated that strict implementation of the zero-tolerance policy against illegal weapons is being ensured. He urged citizens to immediately register their licensed weapons at their respective police stations.
The protection of citizens’ lives and property is the top priority of the Islamabad Police. The Islamabad Police has appealed to the public to fully cooperate with the police and to report any suspicious person or activity to the relevant police station or to the police helpline “Pucar-15” without delay.
