ISLAMABAD: Following the directives of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, special measures are being undertaken to curb criminal activities and to ensure the safety and security of the federal capital.
In line with these directions, search and combing operations are being carried out on a regular basis across different parts of Islamabad. In this regard, a search and combing operation was also conducted in the jurisdiction of Industrial Area and Sangjani police stations under the supervision of SP Industrial Area and SP Saddar.
During the operations, 627 individuals, 76 houses, 17 shops, 35 hostels, 31 hotels, 07 guest houses, 28 vehicles and 48 motorcycles were checked, while 30 suspicious persons and 03 motorcycles were also shifted to police stations for legal proceedings.
