Ambassador Rizwan congratulates Pakistani entrepreneurs, highlights IT cooperation prospects

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United States, Rizwan Saeed Sheikh, on Monday congratulated a cohort of emerging Pakistani entrepreneurs who are participating in the Professional Fellows Program on Economic Empowerment 2025.
During his interaction with the participants at the Embassy, Ambassador Sheikh emphasized the current positive trajectory of Pakistan-US relations and underscored significant prospects for cooperation in the information technology (IT), artificial intelligence (AI), and modern business management sectors, said the press release.
The Ambassador was briefed by the participants on their areas of expertise and their experiences during their stay in Oklahoma, where they interacted with American counterparts in their respective fields.
Highlighting the potential for a mutually beneficial collaboration, Ambassador Sheikh identified several key ingredients for a “win-win” partnership: the ever-growing demand in the US market, Pakistan’s large tech-savvy youth population, and the country’s competitive advantages in cost and quality.
He advised the entrepreneurs to leverage the exposure and experiences gained during their US visit to further strengthen bilateral ties. He encouraged them to maintain and expand their professional networks, raise awareness back home about these opportunities, and actively work to create new avenues for mutually beneficial bilateral cooperation between Pakistan and the United States. –Agencies
