Gangster busted, stolen motorbikes recovered

ISLAMABAD: Following the directives of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi special measures are being undertaken to curb criminal activities and ensure the safety and security of the federal capital.
Islamabad Police have launched a large-scale crackdown to arrest accused involved in motorcycle theft and to curb overall crime in the city.
In this regard, the Karachi Company police station team used modern technical tools and human intelligence to arrest wanted members of an organized gang involved in multiple motorcycle thefts. Police teams also recovered stolen motorcycles from his possession. The accused has been identified as Abdul Qasim.
During the initial investigation, the accused confessed to committing several thefts in Karachi Company and surrounding areas. Cases have been registered against them and further investigation is underway.
