ISLAMABAD: Following the directives of IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, special measures are being undertaken to curb criminal activities and to ensure the safety and security of the federal capital.
In line with these directions, search and combing operations are being carried out on a regular basis across different parts of Islamabad. In this regard, search and combing operations were also conducted in the jurisdiction of Aabpara, Industrial Area, Kirpa and Sangjani police stations under the supervision of zonal SPs .
During the operations, 599 individuals, 341 houses, 07 hotels, 13 shops, 57 vehicles and 139 motorcycles were checked, while 08 suspicious persons were also shifted to police stations for legal proceedings.
