IGP inspects checkposts, issues strict directives

ISLAMABAD: IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi arrived unannounced at various check posts late at night. During the visit, he met Islamabad Police officers and personnel performing their duties, encouraged them, and issued important instructions to further improve service delivery.
Senior police officers were also present on the occasion. The IGP Islamabad personally supervised all arrangements and the checking process at the check posts. He also directly interacted with citizens, listened to their issues, and issued orders for their immediate resolution.
He himself participated in checking vehicles on the roads alongside the personnel. The IGP Islamabad instructed senior officers to ensure professional responsibility, discipline, and courteous behavior with citizens while performing duties.
He stated that the Islamabad Police will not allow any disturbance to the peace and security of the federal capital and will utilize all available resources to protect the lives, property, and public and private assets of the citizens.
He further said, “I am proud of all of you for tirelessly and bravely ensuring the safety of the lives and property of the citizens of the federal capital, Islamabad.”
