Search operations conducted at various areas

ISLAMABAD: Following the directives of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, special measures are being undertaken to curb criminal activities and to ensure the safety and security of the federal capital.

In line with these directions, search and combing operations are being carried out on a regular basis across different parts of Islamabad. In this regard, search and combing operations were conducted in the jurisdiction of Bhara Kahu and Sabzi Mandi police stations under the supervision of zonal SPs .
During the operations, 132 individuals, 21 shops, 60 houses, 23 vehicles and 42 motorcycles were thoroughly checked, while 12 suspicious persons were also shifted to police stations for legal proceedings. During the operations, the police team also arrested a criminal gang and recovered weapons with ammunition from their possession.
