SSP Ops chairs Crime Review Meeting

ISLAMABAD: SSP Operations Islamabad, Qazi Ali Raza, chaired a meeting to review the crime situation in the federal capital. The meeting was attended by Zonal SPs, SDPOs, and SHOs.
SSP Operations Islamabad conducted a detailed review of the performance of all police zones. He directed all officers to expedite the resolution of pending investigations. He instructed all officers to utilize all available resources to ensure the swift arrest of accused involved in murder and attempted murder cases. He also ordered targeted operations against wanted criminals and active members of criminal gangs. Strict legal action must be taken against aerial firing, illegal arms, drug dealers, and land mafia.
Furthermore, he directed that patrolling be made more effective and purposeful, with all patrolling units remaining active and present in the field at all times. The weekly performance of Dolphin Squad units will be reviewed.
SSP Operations Islamabad directed all Zonal SPs, SDPOs, and SHOs to be available in their offices daily from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. to listen to citizens’ concerns and ensure the resolution of complaints. All resources must be utilized to ensure the protection of citizens’ lives and property.
He issued further instructions to all officers, making it clear that negligence or carelessness in the performance of duties would not be tolerated under any circumstances. Protecting the lives and property of citizens remains the top priority of Islamabad Police. Islamabad Police is committed to maintaining law and order, upholding the rule of law, and restoring public trust.
