ISLAMABAD: Following the directives of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, special measures are being undertaken to curb criminal activities and to ensure the safety and security of the federal capital.
In line with these directions, search and combing operations are being carried out on a regular basis across different parts of Islamabad. In this regard, search and combing operations were conducted in the jurisdiction of Karachi Company and Sumbal police stations under the supervision of zonal SPs .
During the operations, 206 individuals, nine shops, 46 houses, 16 vehicles and 43 motorcycles were thoroughly checked, while four suspicious persons were also shifted to police stations for legal proceedings.
