ISLAMABAD: Following the special directives of IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, the Islamabad Police has taken effective measures to ensure foolproof security in the federal capital. In this regard, SSP Investigations Muhammad Usman Tariq Butt visited various duty points and met the police officers and personnel present on site.
While reviewing the checking process, he instructed the concerned officers to make checkpoints more effective and purposeful for ensuring the protection of citizens’ lives and property. He directed all officers to remain alert at all times, ensure thorough checking of suspicious individuals and vehicles, and immediately report any suspicious activity to the relevant authorities.
He further stated that all officers and personnel should treat citizens with courtesy and respect so the bond of trust between police and the public can be strengthened. Protecting the lives and property of citizens is the top priority of Islamabad Police, and all security measures are being taken with this objective in mind.
He also appealed to citizens to fully cooperate with the police and to immediately report any suspicious person or activity to the nearest police station or the police helpline “Pucar-15.”
