ISLAMABAD: SSP Investigations Muhammad Usman Tariq Butt held a meeting to review the status of serious crime cases currently under investigation. The meeting was attended by DSPs Investigations from across the district.
During the meeting, the SSP Investigations reviewed all serious crime cases under investigation. While issuing directions to the officers, he instructed them to conclude pending cases on merit and submit challans to the relevant courts with solid evidence to ensure maximum convictions of criminals.
He further directed that the arrest of absconding members of criminal groups must be ensured. He added that maximum arrests of proclaimed offenders should also be carried out. The protection of citizens’ life and property is our top priority, and no negligence in this regard will be tolerated,” he emphasized.
