ISLAMABAD: Christmas ceremony was organized at Police Lines Headquarters for police officers and staff belonging to the Christian community.
IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, attended the event as the chief guest. On this occasion, DIG Headquarters Malik Jameel Zafar, AIG Logistics Abdul Haque Umrani, SP Headquarters Pari Gul Tareen, and other police officers were also present.

IGP Islamabad congratulated all police officers belonging to the Christian community and distributed gifts among them. He said that this occasion conveys a message of love, affection, brotherhood, and service to humanity. He added that Christian officers and staff are a source of pride for them and have demonstrated outstanding performance in serving the country and the nation in every field.
He further stated that in Pakistan, citizens belonging to every nation, race, and religion enjoy equal rights. At the conclusion of the ceremony, IGP Islamabad also extended his best wishes to Christian police officers and staff. Islamabad Police will ensure comprehensive security arrangements in the federal capital on the occasion of Christmas celebrations, IGP said.
