IGP reviews security measures, orders effective arrangements

ISLAMABAD: IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, is actively engaged in maintaining law and order and ensuring the safety of citizens in the federal capital.
In this regard, he chaired an important meeting at the Central Police Office, which was attended by the AIG Special Branch, SSP CTD, SSP Operations, and the Director IT.
During the meeting, the IGP Islamabad consulted officers regarding new initiatives aimed at facilitating and protecting citizens, reviewed reports on the implementation of assigned tasks, and issued instructions to expedite practical measures for public convenience.
He also conducted a detailed review of the security situation in the federal capital, administrative matters of the police force, and measures taken for the protection of sensitive installations and important locations.
Furthermore, he issued directives to further enhance security at entry and exit points of the Red Zone and Diplomatic Enclave, reorganize VIP security protocols, and improve surveillance systems through the use of modern technology.
IGP Islamabad instructed that intelligence sharing, coordination, and emergency response mechanisms be made more effective.
He further emphasized enhancing professional training of the police force, improving the operational capacity of personnel, and taking comprehensive measures to utilize available resources in an effective manner.
