ISLAMABAD: A funeral prayer of Sub-Inspector Zakir Hussain and Constable Muhammad Asif of Islamabad Police held at Police Lines Headquarters.
The funeral prayer was attended by IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, along with other senior police officers and personnel.
A smart contingent of police personnel presented a guard of honour, while IGP Islamabad and senior officers draped the coffin with flower wreaths and recited Fatiha.
The deceased Sub-Inspector Zakir Hussain and Constable Muhammad Asif were posted in the Operations and Logistics divisions of Islamabad Police.
After the funeral prayers, the bodies of the deceased were sent to their native areas for burial with full state honors.
IGP Islamabad instructed police officers to provide complete support to the families of the deceased, stating that every officer and official of the police force is a valuable asset to him, and the families will be taken care of in every way.
