ISLAMABAD: Following the special directives of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, an effective crackdown is ongoing across the federal capital to ensure the safety of citizens’ lives and property by combating crime and arresting criminal elements.
In this regard, police teams from Shalimar, Sumbal and Tarnol police stations arrested four accused and recovered 110 gram ice, 1,250 gram hashish and two pistols along with ammunition from their possession. Cases have been registered against the arrested accused, and further investigation is in progress.
Additionally, during a special campaign launched for the arrest of proclaimed offenders and court absconders, six wanted criminals were also apprehended.
