ISLAMABAD: IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi visited PIMS hospital where he inquired after those injured in the explosion caused by a gas leakage. On this occasion, senior officers of Islamabad Police were also present with him.
IGP Islamabad instructed the hospital administration to ensure the provision of the best and immediate medical facilities to the injured and emphasized that no negligence should occur in their treatment.
He also expressed his heartfelt condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in the incident. On this occasion, he stated that Islamabad Police carried out timely and effective rescue operations immediately after the incident and fulfilled their professional responsibilities in an exemplary manner.
He appreciated the performance of the police, rescue services, and other concerned institutions, and reiterated that the protection of the lives and property of citizens remains the top priority of Islamabad Police.
