SSP Ops directs completion of under-construction police stations

ISLAMABAD: SSP Operations Islamabad chairs a high-level meeting to review the progress of construction work on newly built and under-construction police stations across the federal capital. The meeting was attended by the zonal SPs, SDPOs and SHOs from across the district. During the meeting, SSP Operations conducted a detailed review of the quality, pace and overall progress of ongoing construction under the SIPS protocols.
He issued clear directions that the construction of all police stations must be completed within the prescribed timelines, adding that negligence, delay or compromise on quality will not be tolerated under any circumstances. He instructed all concerned SHOs to take personal responsibility for monitoring the construction work on a daily basis, ensuring that every phase is completed to the highest standards. He emphasised that durable, well-structured and fully equipped police stations are essential for providing citizens with a dignified and facilitative environment.
SSP Operations Qazi Ali Raza further said that improving infrastructure is crucial for promoting modern, organised and public-friendly policing. He added that Islamabad Police is fully committed to strengthening service delivery and continues to take practical and effective steps toward this goal.
