ISLAMABAD: Safe City Islamabad has signed an agreement with TPL Limited for tracker system software. The signing ceremony was attended by DG Safe City/DIG Traffic Muhammad Haroon Joya, AD Safe City Abbas Mehdi, and the TPL team.
On this occasion, the DG Safe City/DIG Traffic stated that the objective of the agreement is to install tracker systems in Islamabad Police patrolling vehicles so that their movement can be monitored effectively.
Furthermore, DG Safe City/ DIG Traffic Muhammad Haroon Joya held a meeting with traffic police officers and the Safe City technical team. During the meeting, discussions were held with traffic police officers regarding the major causes of road accidents, as well as the locations of U-turns and interchanges on major highways.
He directed all officers to take measures to reduce the rate of road accidents through the effective use of cameras, and also issued instructions for further improvements in camera locations, functionality, and overall performance.
