—— Over 21,000 kites, strings confiscated

ISLAMABAD: Following the special directions of IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, the Islamabad Police intensified an indiscriminate crackdown against kite sellers in the federal capital.
During the ongoing month, various police teams arrested 54 kite flyers and sellers and more than 11,000 kites and over 10,000 strings were recovered from their possession.Cases have been registered against the arrested accused at various police stations, and further investigation is underway.
