ISLAMABAD: DG Safe City/ DIG Traffic Muhammad Haroon Joya chaired a meeting at Safe City Islamabad.
The meeting was attended by the DG Pakistan Telecommunication Authority, other team members, and the Safe City technical team.
During the meeting, consensus was reached on ensuring the adoption of modern technology in the Telecommunication, Investigation, and Operations divisions of Islamabad Police to make the federal capital safer. DG Safe City stated that effective communication serves as the backbone of any organization, and institutions must focus on continuously improving their communication systems to achieve progress.
He emphasized that the police communication system should be fully aligned with modern-day requirements so that police response time can be improved. He further stated that efforts are underway to modernize and further enhance inter-departmental communication within Islamabad Police to make overall police performance more effective.
