ISLAMABAD: Following the directives of IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, special measures are being undertaken to curb criminal activities and to ensure the safety and security of the federal capital.
In line with these directions, search and combing operations are being carried out on a regular basis across different parts of Islamabad. In this regard, search and combing operation was conducted in the jurisdiction of Shams Colony police station under the supervision of SP Industrial Area zone. During the operations, 1950 individuals, 1450 houses, 388 shops, 361 motorcycles and 131 vehicles were thoroughly checked, while 10 suspicious persons and four motorbikes were also shifted to the police station for legal proceedings.
