ISLAMABAD: DG Safe City/DIG Traffic Muhammad Haroon Joya, along with the Director IT, facilitated the visit of the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) officers delegation to Safe City Islamabad.
The delegation was taken on a detailed tour of the central system, the Command and Control Center, advanced technology cameras, and the Police Operations Center Hall, and was thoroughly briefed on their working and effectiveness.

The delegation was informed that Safe City Islamabad is playing a vital role in various sectors through modern technological initiatives, including the Police Operations Center, Emergency Control Center, Dispatch Control Center, and the “Pukar-15” emergency helpline.
They were also briefed on the performance and effectiveness of Safe City cameras across the city, highlighting their significant role in ensuring city security, crime prevention, and the protection of citizens’ lives and property.
It was further shared that facial recognition cameras have been installed at the city entry and exit points, which are playing an important role in identifying suspicious elements. Moreover, mutual cooperation between Safe City Islamabad and the Anti-Narcotics Force to reduce crime rates and curb drug trafficking in the federal capital was also discussed.
During the visit, the DG Safe City/ DIG Traffic also briefed the delegation on the working, importance, and effectiveness of the Hotel Eye and Travel Eye software, and explained how these systems assist in the identification and arrest of criminals.
The delegation appreciated the modern technological systems of Islamabad Police and their effectiveness, and expressed gratitude to DG Safe City Muhammad Haroon Joya and his team for the successful and informative visit. At the conclusion of the visit, police shields and souvenirs were also exchanged.
