SSP Ops for intensifying crackdown against criminals

ISLAMABAD: SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza presided over an important crime meeting with Soan and Rural zone officials. The meeting was attended by SP Soan, SP Rural, SDPOs and SHOs of both zones.
During the meeting, SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza reviewed crime prevention measures and security arrangements for the holy month of Ramadan. He directed officers to ensure strict monitoring of habitual and previously convicted offenders. He emphasized purposeful and effective patrolling, and ordered accelerated action against those involved in street crime, theft, and motorcycle and car lifting cases.
SSP Operations also instructed officers to utilize all available resources for the eradication of criminal elements, particularly focusing on the arrest of proclaimed offenders and accused involved in serious cases. He further directed indiscriminate action against land grabbers, drug peddlers, and individuals possessing illegal weapons.
SSP Operations underscored the importance of prompt arrests in pending cases, merit-based investigations, and submission of challans supported by solid evidence to ensure conviction of accused persons. Reviewing Ramadan security arrangements, he directed officers to implement enhanced measures at masjids and imambargahs, particularly during Taraweeh, Sehri, and Iftar hours. He also instructed all officers to maintain their presence in the field and ensure effective supervision of duties.
Reaffirming Islamabad Police’s commitment, SSP Operations stated that protection of citizens lives and property remains the foremost priority, and strict action against criminal elements will continue without discrimination.
