ISLAMABAD: Following the special directives of IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, special Iftar arrangements were organized for police officers and personnel at the Police Lines Headquarters Islamabad during the holy month of Ramadan.
On this occasion, the IGP Islamabad, along with other senior police officers, broke the fast with officers and personnel. Special prayers were also offered for the martyrs of the police force.
IGP Islamabad stated that every officer and personnel of Islamabad Police is determined to fulfill their duties. He appreciated the role of each member of the force in carrying out their responsibilities and expressed pride in the professional competence, bravery, and integrity of Islamabad Police officers and personnel.
He directed officers to continue performing their duties professionally during the holy month of Ramadan and to carry out their official responsibilities with zeal and commitment. The purpose of arranging the Iftar dinner for police officers and personnel was to boost their morale, as they remain constantly engaged in ensuring the protection of citizens lives and property.
Later, IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi met with police officers deployed on security duties outside masjids during Fajr prayers.
He personally reviewed the security arrangements at masjids and imambargahs, encouraged the officers performing alert duties, and issued instructions to ensure that they continue to carry out their responsibilities in the best possible manner.
