Trump calls choice of Iran’s new supreme leader ‘a big mistake’

US President Donald Trump criticised Iran’s decision to appoint Mojtaba Khamenei as the country’s new supreme leader following the assassination of his father in the US-Israel strike.

“I think they made a big mistake” in selecting Mojtaba Khameini, Trump told media.

Trump also said it’s “too soon to talk about” seizing Iran’s oil but he “doesn’t rule it out”. –Agencies
