Pakistani security forces are continuing retaliatory operations against the Afghan Taliban and Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) in the Arandu and Kurram sectors, security sources said on Tuesday.
According to the sources, the Pakistan Army destroyed several key posts and operational centres during the ongoing action in the border areas.
The sources said Afghan Taliban operatives abandoned a number of positions and fled during the attacks and subsequent exchange of fire.
They added that Pakistani forces are targeting terrorist hideouts and military installations being used by militants across the border as part of Operation Ghazab lil-Haq, which remains ongoing. –Agencies
