ISLAMABAD: SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza, along with SSP Security/ Operations Suleman Zafar, met a delegation of the Christian community regarding security arrangements for Easter. The delegation included church pastors and other members of the community.
Addressing the participants, SSP Operations Islamabad stated that Islamabad Police is taking all necessary measures to ensure the security of the Christian community and will continue to provide foolproof security for religious gatherings held at churches in the future as well.
He further said that the purpose of this meeting was to assure the Christian community that Islamabad Police is always present for their protection and considers itself accountable for their safety.
He added that Islamabad Police is utilizing all available resources to provide comprehensive security to all churches and religious sites of the Christian community in the federal capital. SSP Operations expressed that the Christian community has always fully cooperated with Islamabad Police in the past and hoped for continued cooperation in the future.
During the meeting, the Christian community delegation thanked SSP Operations Islamabad for listening to their concerns and assuring full cooperation, and reaffirmed their support for Islamabad Police at all levels.
