ISLAMABAD: A dignified ceremony was held at the Police Lines Headquarters to honor 12 police officers who have been promoted to higher ranks. Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Headquarters Malik Jameel Zafar, along with AIG Logistics Abdul Haq Umrani, SP Headquarters Pari Gul Tareen, DSP Headquarters, and other senior officers, officially pinned the new ranks on the promoted officers. On this occasion, the DIG Headquarters extended heartfelt congratulations to all the officers and expressed sincere good wishes for their continued success.
Addressing the promoted officers, the DIG Headquarters stated that with promotion comes greater responsibility. He emphasized that IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi has issued clear directives to ensure that promotions continue across all vacant positions. He further added that it is the result of their hard work and dedication that Almighty Allah has granted them this position. Now, they have been entrusted with even greater responsibility. They should fulfill their duties with excellence, bring pride to the department, and make the welfare of the police force and the delivery of justice to citizens their top priorities.
They should also act as a source of ease and support for the public. He concluded by saying that he hopes they will continue to carry out their duties with the same dedication, politeness, sincerity, and a strong spirit of public service.
