ISLAMABAD: Following the directives of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, special measures are being undertaken to curb criminal activities and ensure the safety and security of the federal capital. In this regard, search and combing operations were conducted in the jurisdictions of multiple police stations under the supervision of zonal SPs.
During the operations, 663 individuals, 348 houses, 38 shops, 59 hotels, 215 motorcycles, and 61 vehicles were thoroughly checked. Meanwhile, one illegally residing foreign national, 32 suspicious persons and one motorcycle were shifted to police stations for legal proceedings.
