ISLAMABAD: DG Safe City/DIG Traffic Islamabad Muhammad Haroon Joya, conducted a detailed review of the ongoing development work on the Safe City Islamabad expansion project. During the visit, police officials and contractors were also present.
DG Safe City carefully examined the project progress, construction quality, and timelines, and directed that the pace of work be further expedited so that citizens can be provided with modern and effective security facilities within the stipulated time frame.
He instructed the contractor on various aspects of the project and provided clear guidance regarding necessary improvements and potential changes to ensure the project is completed in line with modern requirements.
He further stated that the Safe City Islamabad project is playing a vital role in improving the law and order situation in the federal capital, and with the integration of new technologies and innovations, a safer environment for citizens will be ensured.
At the end, he directed the concerned authorities to ensure continuous monitoring of all phases of the project, stressing that no negligence will be tolerated.
