ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Police Sabzi Mandi police team, using technical and human resources, succeeded in apprehending one Afghan national accused involved in several robberies. Police teams recovered snatched cash from his possession. Cases have already been registered against the arrested accused, and further investigation is underway.
DIG Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq stated that strict action is being taken against individuals involved in motorcycle theft and street robbery in Islamabad. As a result of these operations, a noticeable decline has been observed in incidents of motorcycle theft and street robbery in the federal capital. He directed all officers to continue the crackdown against criminal elements and ensure that they are brought to justice.
He also appealed to citizens to cooperate with the police and immediately report any suspicious activity or objects to the nearest police station or the emergency helpline “Pucar-15.”
