MADINAH Al-MUNAWWARAH: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday paid his respects at Roza-e-Rasool (Peace Be Upon Him) here, and prayed for the progress of the country and the nation.
The prime minister, who arrived here from Jeddah along with his delegation, was received by Governor of Medina Prince Salman bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
The prime minister visited Masjid-e-Nabawi and prayed for country’s progress as well as peace and harmony across the world.
The Saudi government opened the doors of Roza-e-Rasool (PBUH) for Prime Minister Shehbaz and his delegation, where he paid his respects.
After completing his visit to Saudi Arabia, the prime minister will proceed to Doha, on the second leg of this three-nation visit, where he will hold a bilateral meeting with the Amir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. –Agencies
