IESCO notifies of power suspension

ISLAMABAD: The IESCO on Thursday issued a power suspension programme for Friday and Saturday in various areas of its region due to necessary maintenance and routine development work.
According to an IESCO spokesperson, on April 24, electricity supply will remain suspended in GSO Circle from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm in 132kV GSS South, East, West and North, while from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm outages will occur on 132kV Bhagwal. On April 25, in Rawalpindi Cantt Circle, power supply will remain suspended from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm in Qureshiabad, Old Rawat, New Rawat, AOWHS, Suparco, NPF-I, NPF-II, Doctor Town, PWD-I and PWD-II feeders. Similarly, in Attock Circle, electricity will remain suspended during the same hours in Attock Rural, Teen Mela and Bagh Nelab feeders. In Jhelum Circle, the affected areas from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm include New Sanghoi, Chotala, Khai Khulia, Pakhwal, F-2 (Chip Board), Industrial, F-10 (Kala Base), Jakkar, F-9 (Chak Daulat), Nathwala, Sanghoi and Safdar Shaheed feeders. Meanwhile, in GSO Circle, power supply will remain suspended from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm in 132kV GSS Palandri (Azad Pattan feeder) and adjoining areas. The IESCO management apologized to consumers for the inconvenience and said that power supply may be restored earlier than scheduled if the maintenance work is completed ahead of time. –Agencies
