Foreign ministers from Pakistan, Egypt, Turkiye, Indonesia, Jordan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the UAE condemned the repeated violations of Jerusalem’s holy sites, particularly at Al-Aqsa Mosque, by the Israeli settlers and extremist ministers.
The joint statement criticised incursions by Israeli settlers and officials under police protection, calling these actions a breach of international law and a threat to the historic and legal status quo in Jerusalem.
The ministers also condemned expansion of illegal settlements and settler violence in the occupied West Bank, urging international action and reaffirming support for a two-state solution based on pre-1967 borders. –Agencies
