Pakistani vessel, carrying 80 million litres of fuel, crosses Hormuz: shipping sources

A Pakistani ship, carrying 80 million litres of fuel, crossed the Strait of Hormuz on Thursday and entered the Gulf of Oman, shipping sources said.

According to the sources, vessel Khairpur was transporting diesel purchased from Kuwait and was expected to arrive at Karachi Port within the next two to three days.

Officials from the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra) noted that the arrival of the shipment will boost the country’s fuel reserves. –Agencies
