ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) on Monday issued a power suspension programme for Tuesday in various areas of its region due to necessary maintenance and routine development work.
According to an IESCO spokesperson, in Islamabad Circle, electricity will remain suspended from 7:00 am to 11:00 am in areas including Gharial, Taramri, Waheedabad, Kund Rajgan, King Hammad, Azad Shaheed, Lehtrar Road, Chatta Bakhtawar, Kuri Road, Rehara, Sukh Chain, F-9 Park, F-10/1, Meezan Bank, HC3-PIMS, C-2, Pak Land, F-8/1 and F-8 Markaz.
In Rawalpindi Cantt Circle, power supply will remain suspended from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm in Rehmatabad-1, Chaklala, Takbeer-I, Takbeer-II, Takbeer-III and Kot Jabbi feeders.
Similarly, in Rawalpindi City Circle, electricity will remain suspended from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm in Sector-IV and APHS areas, while from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm in Cob Lane, Askari-XI and Cheering Cross feeders.
In Attock Circle, power supply will remain suspended from 5:00 am to 11:00 am in Small Industrial Estate, Lala Rukh, Garhi Afghan and Lala Zar areas. In Chakwal Circle, electricity will remain suspended from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm in Jamalwal and Mengan feeders.
Meanwhile, in GSO Circle, power supply will remain suspended from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm on 132-KV Chakwal–Bhagwal–Talagang and 132-KV Kahuta City–Palandri transmission lines and adjoining areas. The IESCO management apologizes to its esteemed customers for the power outage. If the work is completed ahead of time, the power supply can be restored even before the scheduled time. –Agencies
