Makkah: Delivering the Friday sermon at the Grand Mosque today, Imam Sheikh Maher Al-Muaiqly, emphasized upon the profound spiritual virtues of the first ten days of Dhu Al-Hijjah, characterizing it as a sacred period where major Islamic rituals, including the Day of Arafah and the Day of Sacrifice (Youm-e-Nahr), seamlessly converge.
According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Imam highlighted during his sermon that righteous deeds performed during this blessed period are most beloved to Allah Almighty. Sheikh Al-Muaiqly highly commended Saudi Arabia’s extensive operational efforts, state-of-the-art infrastructure, and continuous arrangements dedicated to caring for the Two Holy Mosques and facilitating their millions of visitors.
He strongly urged all pilgrims to uphold the supreme sanctity of the Hajj rituals and strictly comply with official government regulations. Sheikh Al-Muaiqly issued a stern warning against attempting to perform Hajj without a valid permit, clarifying that such unauthorized actions cause direct harm to fellow pilgrims and severely disrupt the organized safety, security, and crowd-management frameworks established for the pilgrimage. –Agencies
