SSP Ops visits cattle markets, reviews security

ISLAMABAD: SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza visited various cattle markets established in the federal capital and reviewed the security, traffic, and administrative arrangements in detail. Relevant officers were also present with him during the visit.
On this occasion, SSP Operations met the police officers and personnel on duty and directed them to remain alert, adopt good conduct, and perform their duties in a professional manner to ensure the safety of citizens lives and property.
He also inspected the approved boundary walls by the district administration, entry and exit points, walk-through gates, parking areas, CCTV surveillance, and emergency response measures. SSP Operations Islamabad directed the officers to further improve police patrolling around the cattle markets and ensure immediate emergency response to deal with any untoward situation.
He stated that a special traffic plan has been prepared to maintain smooth traffic flow and facilitate citizens, and strict implementation of the plan is underway. He further appealed to citizens to follow traffic rules while visiting cattle markets and park their vehicles only in designated parking areas so that traffic flow is not affected.
SSP Operations further said that Islamabad Police is taking all possible measures to ensure the protection of citizens lives and property, foolproof security arrangements, and a peaceful environment, while providing a safe and facilitative atmosphere for visitors to cattle markets remains the top priority.
