MAKKAH: Sheikh Dr. Bandar bin Abdulaziz Baleelah will lead the Friday (Jumuah) prayers at Masjid Al Haram, while Sheikh Dr. Abdul Muhsin bin Muhammad Al Qasim will lead the prayers at Masjid Al Nabawi.
According to details released by the administrative authorities of the Haramain Sharifain, these prominent scholars have been appointed as the Khatibs and Imams for today’s Jumuah prayers, 12th Dhul Hijjah 1447 AH, corresponding to May 29, 2026.
Under this directive, Sheikh Dr. Bandar bin Abdulaziz Baleelah is performing the duties of leading the Friday prayers and delivering the sermon (Khutbah) at Masjid Al Haram in Makkah. Meanwhile, at Masjid Al Nabawi in Madinah, Sheikh Dr. Abdul Muhsin bin Muhammad Al Qasim is privileged to lead the Jumuah prayers and deliver the sermon.
Officials stated that in view of the blessed days of Hajj, comprehensive arrangements have been finalized across both holy mosques to accommodate the massive gatherings of pilgrims, ensuring that the Friday prayers are offered with the utmost devotion, respect, and in a peaceful environment. –Agencies
