ISLAMABAD: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi remained actively engaged in overseeing official, administrative, and professional affairs.
He conducted a comprehensive review of the ongoing development projects, institutional infrastructure, and administrative matters of Islamabad Police.
On the occasion, the Assistant Director Development briefed the IGP Islamabad on the progress of ongoing projects, construction work, and other administrative developments. IGP Islamabad directed the concerned officials to ensure that all development projects are completed within the stipulated timeline while maintaining the highest standards of quality and transparency.
He further emphasized the need to modernize institutional infrastructure in line with contemporary requirements to provide a better working environment for police officials and improve the quality of policing services for citizens. He also stressed the importance of effective project monitoring, inter-departmental coordination, and timely completion of all development initiatives.
Furthermore, IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi held a Khuli Katchery at the Central Police Office under the Open Door Policy, where he listened to the grievances of citizens and police officials and issued on-the-spot directions to the concerned officers for their prompt resolution on merit.
He stated that the timely and fair resolution of public grievances remains the top priority of Islamabad Police and that the doors of the Central Police Office are always open to every citizen. He directed the concerned officials to dispose of all received applications on merit within the prescribed timeframe and submit compliance reports.
IGP Islamabad also directed all SDPOs and SHOs to ensure meetings with citizens during designated office hours, resolve their grievances on a priority basis, and continue the effective implementation of the Open Door Policy to further promote community-oriented policing.
