ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar and Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Somalia Abdisalam Abdi Ali, Wednesday, exchanged views on regional developments, particularly the situation in the Middle East and the deteriorating situation in East Jerusalem.
The DPM/FM met with the Somali minister on the sidelines of the Ministerial Meeting on Jerusalem in Amman, the Foreign Office Spokesperson said in a press release.
The two leaders reviewed the longstanding fraternal ties between Pakistan and Somalia and discussed ways to further strengthen cooperation in the political, economic, defence, education, and capacity-building sectors. They also reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining close coordination at multilateral forums. –Agencies
