IGP reviews recruitment process, measures to enhance public facilitation

ISLAMABAD: IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi chaired an important meeting attended by DIG Headquarters Muhammad Jawad Tariq, DIG Law & Order Muhammad Atiq Tahir, and senior police officers of Islamabad Police. The meeting reviewed the ongoing and upcoming recruitment processes, public-friendly initiatives, and measures aimed at providing citizens with more effective, prompt, and quality police services.
The meeting examined the ongoing recruitment process, planning for future recruitments, manpower requirements, and measures to enhance the operational capacity of the force. Senior police officers briefed the IG Islamabad on ongoing initiatives and progress within their respective departments.
Various proposals to improve the timely delivery of police services, enhance public facilitation, and further strengthen effective communication between the police and citizens were also reviewed.
IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi directed all officers to align policing and public service delivery with modern requirements and public expectations, while ensuring that citizens receive prompt, dignified, and quality police services without any negligence.
He emphasized that enhancing police capacity through modern and transparent systems, improving service delivery, and strengthening public trust remain key priorities of Islamabad Police. He directed officers to professionally discharge their assigned responsibilities and ensure the timely completion of ongoing initiatives. IGP Islamabad further directed that modern technology and available resources be utilized to the fullest to ensure the prompt resolution of public issues, an effective police response, and convenient access to police services for citizens.
He reiterated his commitment to further accelerating reforms and public facilitation initiatives aimed at transforming Islamabad Police into a modern, transparent, effective, and citizen-friendly institution.
