ISLAMABAD: Speaker of the National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq on Monday suspended the proceedings of the House until the completion of the quorum.
Soon after the start of the Question Hour, Iqbal Afridi asked the chair to give him the floor.
The Speaker said that the floor would not be given to him during the Question Hour.
He said that after the Question Hour was completed, the MNA would be allowed to speak.
Following the Speaker’s refusal, the MNA pointed out the quorum.
After the headcount, the House was found to be inquorate.
The Speaker then suspended the proceedings of the House until the quorum was completed.
