ISLAMABAD: Following the special directives of IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, officers of Islamabad Police have been promoted to the next ranks. In this regard, a ceremony was held at the Central Police Office Islamabad in honour of the promoted officers.
IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi and DIG Headquarters Muhammad Jawad Tariq, along with other senior police officers, pinned the Inspector rank on the officers who were promoted to the rank of Inspector. They congratulated the promoted officers and expressed their best wishes for their future responsibilities.
On the occasion, IGP Islamabad said that the promotions were recognition of the officers’ hard work, professional capabilities and dedicated service. He said that their responsibilities have also increased with their new ranks.
IGP Islamabad directed the promoted officers to perform their professional duties with hard work, integrity, commitment and dedication, while keeping the rule of law and merit at the forefront. He also emphasized further improving their professional capabilities and performance.
He directed the officers to maintain courteous, respectful and professional conduct with citizens and ensure the prompt resolution of their issues and the provision of quality police services. Protecting the lives and property of citizens and ensuring timely justice remain among the top priorities of Islamabad Police.
IGP Islamabad expressed the hope that the promoted officers would effectively perform their new responsibilities and play their full role in further improving the performance, service delivery and reputation of Islamabad Police.
