ISLAMABAD: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Captain (Retd.) Muhammad Sohail Chaudhry invited police officers and officials who demonstrated outstanding performance to the Central Police Office and awarded them appreciation certificates in recognition of their exceptional performance, dedication and professional services. He appreciated their commitment and encouraged them to continue performing their duties with diligence and responsibility.
Later, the IGP Islamabad visited Margalla Police Station, where he reviewed security arrangements, policing measures and facilities available to citizens. He also inspected the ongoing initiatives under the SIPS protocols and received a briefing from the concerned officers.
During the visit, the IGP Islamabad met police officers and officials and interacted directly with citizens to hear their concerns. He directed the officers to ensure timely resolution of public complaints, effective service delivery and improved police facilities.
IGP Islamabad also visited the F-6 Police Facilitation Centre, where he reviewed the services provided to citizens, service delivery standards and administrative arrangements. He interacted with citizens visiting the center and sought their feedback on the facilities and services available.
IGP Islamabad directed the concerned officers to ensure timely, transparent and quality service delivery, with public facilitation as a top priority. He emphasized that recognizing outstanding performance encourages professionalism and improves departmental efficiency.
