PPP senior leader slams PTI

KARACHI: Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Memon has said that PPP representatives were present during the talks between the government and PTI held in Islamabad.
Addressing a press conference, Memon said the PPP was not competing with anyone and would not respond to remarks made by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chief minister. He said that if the PPP leadership was targeted or defamed, the party would “show them a mirror.”
He also criticised PTI founder Imran Khan over his past remarks regarding opening Taliban offices in Pakistan, saying the Taliban had targeted children, politicians and security forces. Memon said people should consider when terrorism gained momentum in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
He added that significant work had been carried out in Sukkur in sectors including health and education. –Agencies
