Kuwait: Residents and homeowners in various areas of Kuwait are being encouraged to plan for the planned interruptions in water supply as construction teams prepare for upcoming planned installations.
In a statement issued by the Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy, it has stated that it would be undertaking a ten-hour maintenance period at the Doha Water Distribution Complex.
This temporary outage is to start at 9:00pm on Thursday 15th October for a duration of 10 hours.
It is also noted in the ministry’s advisory that the disruption to service will result in decreased water pressure and temporary supplies reductions will be observed in four large residential communities: Ar-diya, Sabah Al-Nasser, Firdous and Ishbiliya.
Ministry staff thanked consumers for their understanding and support as infrastructure teams continue to work on improving the efficiency and resilience of the distribution network. In order to reduce the impact on households and businesses during the outage period, consumers have been asked to store adequate water supply in advance.
For those residents who cannot access the service or have an urgent problem during the maintenance period should contact the Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy’s emergency number 152. –Agencies
