ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan taking aim at the Sharif family said on Sunday the entire PML-N has gathered at the London residence of fugitives.
Taking to Twitter, she said it is ironic that among the PML-N leaders huddled in London for consultations on legislative matters were those wanted by the law.
As is a right of every prisoner to get medical treatment, it is also the right and obligation of the law to hold violators to account, Ms Awan said.
PML-N president Shehbaz Sharif had presided over a consultative session of party leaders who reached London to enquire after the health of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif undergoing treatment there.
Former finance minister Ishaq Dar, Ayaz Sadiq, Khawaja Asif, Ahsan Iqbal, Pervez Rasheed, Khurram Dastagir, Marriyam Aurangzeb and others were present in the meeting held at a restaurant in the British capital.
After the meeting, the PML-N leaders visited the ailing ex-premier at the Avenfield apartments to enquire after his health.
Agencies add: Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan said on Sunday that it was ironic that among Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leaders gathered in London for consultations on legislative matters, included those who were wanted by law.
In a tweet, she said entire PML-N had gathered at the residence of absconders. She said as it was right of every prisoner to get medical treatment, it was the right and obligation of the law to hold violators accountable.
Meanwhile,Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan on Sunday expressed deep grief and sorrow over the sad demise of the mother of Secretary General All Pakistan Newspapers Society Sarmad Ali.
In a statement, she prayed to Almighty Allah to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage to the bereaved family to bear this loss with fortitude.
Earlier, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting, Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan Saturday said the government was pursuing the mission of promoting economic activities and facilitating businesses.
In a series of tweets the SAPM said ‘Kamyab Jawan’ Programme would provide opportunities to the youth to move forward by opening their small and medium enterprises.
She said Rs 100 billion have been allocated for the first phase of ‘Kamyab Jawan’ Programme. She assured that all the loans under this scheme would be given on merit. She said it was the firm belief of Imran Khan that the society will achieve progress and prosperity by promoting merit.
Firdous Ashiq Awan said this programme was a guarantee to put the youth on the successful path. She said the disbursement of loans under the programme was a fulfillment of the promise made by the Prime Minister Imran Khan with the youth.
She pointed out that millions of youth evinced their great interest in the programme which was manifestation of their confidence on Naya Pakistan under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
