Lahore: Ben Dunk comes out as a surprise package for Lahore Qalandars when they needed the most. The left-handed batsman smashed 92 runs off 43 balls to lay down a solid foundation for his team again Quetta Gladiators.
His power-packed inning included 10 sixes which has now become most by any batsman in a single inning in PSL. Earlier, the record was eight sixes in an inning which was shared among five batters including Umar Akmal, Sharjeel Khan, Kevin Pietersen, Kamran Akmal, and Colin Ingram.
It must be noted here that Qalandars have scored the highest team total (209-5) in this year’s PSL. Earlier, Karachi Kings made 201-4, the previous highest team total of this edition. – Agencies
